Although we're still in the initial phases of studying about this new tradeskill, we're at a factor now where we can start to weigh its costs and benefits. After the crack, we'll evaluate Wording as a job for Mages, and go over the glyphs available to us both now and after Nov 13th.
As a Mage, it intrigues me more than most. Several of the glyphs for Mages are quite impressive, the Scribe-only neck enchants are fairly spectacular, and the off-hand weaponry Scribes can make and provide seem like an eye-catching stabilizing choice going into Anger. What are the benefits and drawbacks of this new profession? Is it value losing old standards like Enchanting or Tailoring for? As a Mage, is Wording value studying.
In reality these don't take impact until after the growth strikes, but once power stabilizing Wording to 400, a Scribe can enchant their own shoulders with some very impressive and exclusive enchants. For Mages, the options would be between Master's Wording of the Crag and of the Storm. These evaluate very favorably with the faction-specific neck enchants available in Anger, and need no popularity grinding to obtain.
If you shy away staff and instead want to barbecue Murlocs while sporting a 1H-weapon and an off-hand frill, Wording seems to be the profession for you. Here the stabilizing alternatives designed are prefect impressive, and need only a certain Wording stage to provide instead of a stage need. Those who have leveled with a job like Technical innovation can tell you how amazing being able to provide high-level equipment at a low stage can be. For example, your stage ten Mage, if you power-level his Wording, could provide the Tome of the Dawn. Another choice at that level to Buy WOW Gold? Behold the mind-blowing splendor of the Journeyman's Stave. As soon as stage 35, you could be rocking a Stormbound Tome in your off-hand.
